Hey FAST Families,

We are looking forward to our final regular season meet of the 2026 summer season this Wednesday! Also, be sure to sign up for JSL champs soon if you have not already because the Coaches and I will be working on our champs lineup this weekend. Meet information for Wednesday is below.

Meet Location:
Fork Union Military Academy Estes Athletic Center
4744 James Madison Highway
Fork Union, VA 23055

Arrival & Warm-Ups:
Our warm-up time is 5:00 PM-5:25 PM, so please plan to have your swimmer arrive at 4:45 PM.

The meet will begin at 6:00 PM following the National Anthem.

Team Attire:
Please make sure all swimmers arrive with their:

• FAST swim cap
• 2026 FAST team t-shirt
• Plain navy swimsuit or FAST team suit

Volunteer Reminder:
Thank you to everyone who has already signed up to help! We have added a few marshal positions around the building at the request of FUMA to help keep everyone where they need to be throughout the meet.

Please take a look at the volunteer sign-up online and consider signing up if you are able. Your help is greatly appreciated and we could not run these meets without our amazing volunteers!

There will be a brief break following the breaststroke events to switch first-half and second-half volunteers.

Important Facility Information:
Please review the attached Fork Union facility information document before arriving. It contains important information regarding parking, team areas, and campus policies.

Food & Concessions:
Tinsley's Food Truck will once again be on-site serving dinner, snacks, and drinks throughout the evening.

Additional Information:

• The heat sheet and entry spreadsheet will be sent out tomorrow.
• Want more info on meets? Please review our meet guide HERE and be sure to have your swimmer's event, heats, and lanes written on their hand before arrival.
• Please have swimmers check in with the FAST coaches upon arrival and stay near the team area throughout the meet so they don't miss their events.

Drive-In Movie Night Update:
Our end-of-season Drive-In Movie Night is still on for this Saturday but we have changed the location. Instead of the Fork Union Drive-In, we will be heading to the Goochland Drive-In.

The Fork Union Drive-In will only be showing The Odyssey this weekend so we felt that the Goochland Drive-In would be a better option with a lineup of movies that the whole family can enjoy.

The Goochland Drive-In flyer for this weekend is attached below. If you plan to join us, be sure to purchase your tickets soon, as they often sell out before the weekend begins. I hope to see you all there!
