We’ve put together a guide to help our swimmers get ready for the FAST summer season.

All of the gear our swimmers need for practices and meets are available through our SwimOutlet team store. Every purchase made through the store supports FAST! You can access our SwimOutlet store on the bottom of our website homepage.

FAST T-Shirts

Each swimmer receives a FAST t-shirt at the start of the season. Extra shirts are available for friends and families who want to show off their team spirit. Use the link below to purchase extra t-shirts.

Suits

Team Suit:
We ask families to have all FAST swimmers wear a FAST team suit, navy and gold suit, or a plain navy suit for meets. Wearing team colors helps our swimmers feel united and cohesive.

Practice Suit:
Having a separate suit for practice is recommended but not required. A separate practice suit keeps your team suit looking and feeling fresh for meets.

Recommended brands: Sporti (value brand), Arena, Speedo, and TYR (higher quality brands). 

Important Note for Girls:
All girls must wear one-piece suits for practices and meets. Two-piece suits or suits that show the stomach are not permitted.

Goggles
Sporti goggles provide excellent value while Arena, Speedo, and TYR goggles offer higher quality. Any goggle without a nose cover will work for practices and meets. Be sure to keep a spare pair in your swim bag in case one breaks.

Caps

Team Cap:
All new FAST Swimmers will receive a FAST Cap in the beginning of the summer. A team cap is required at every meet. Additional FAST caps are available for purchase for $15 each.

Practice Cap:
Using a separate cap for practice is optional but it is recommended as it helps your FAST cap last longer. Silicone caps are recommended over latex caps as they tend to be more durable and comfortable. That being said, some swimmers do prefer latex caps. Arena, Speedo, Sporti, and TYR all offer high quality caps.

Important Note for Long Hair:
All swimmers with long hair should wear a cap to practice to avoid distractions and keep hair out of their face.
